Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026

This policy explains what happens when you cancel a Navigator subscription, when a payment fails, and when a refund is or isn't available. It applies to all paid plans, billed in INR through Razorpay.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again after. There's no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

2. Refunds

Because Navigator is billed monthly in advance for access already granted, we don't refund the unused portion of a billing period when you cancel partway through. This is standard for subscription software and keeps pricing simple for everyone.

We will refund you in full if:

  • You were charged in error — for example, double-billed for the same period, or charged after you'd already cancelled.
  • A technical fault on our side meant you had no meaningful access to Navigator for a significant part of a billing period and we're unable to fix it promptly.

To request a refund under either of these, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@alptravel.co. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Razorpay, typically within 5–7 business days.

Outside of the two cases above, all subscription charges are final. This includes changing your mind after subscribing, forgetting to cancel before a renewal, or under-using a plan you're paying for.

3. Free plan and trials

Navigator's free tier carries no charge and needs no refund policy of its own. If we offer a free trial of a paid tier, we'll state its length and what happens at the end of it (auto-convert to paid, or expire) at the point you start it — nothing is charged without that being clear upfront.

4. Failed payments and the grace period

If a renewal payment fails — an expired card, insufficient funds, or a bank decline — we don't cut off access immediately. You get a 7-day grace period, shown as a banner in Navigator, to update your payment method and settle the charge. Razorpay automatically retries the payment during this window.

If the payment still hasn't gone through at the end of the 7 days, your subscription is suspended: you keep your data, but lose access to paid features until you update your payment method and the charge succeeds. We don't delete anything during a suspension.

5. Plan changes

Upgrading takes effect immediately, with the difference charged pro-rata for the rest of your current billing period. Downgrading takes effect at the start of your next billing period — you keep your current plan's features until then, and nothing is refunded for the switch.

6. Account termination by us

If we suspend or terminate your account for a Terms of Service breach (see Section 5 of the Terms of Service), no refund is due for the remainder of your current billing period.
